I love gold. Not Goldmember love - even though he was allegedly Dutch (but his accent was ridiculous and not accurate at all) - but I do love it. I found this great gold maxi skirt at Anthropology after it went on crazy sale. I had been eyeing it since Christmas and the Anthropology a few blocks from where I live always has a great sale section. The skirt goes great with the $17 gold heals I got at TJMaxx. I have now been using any excuse to wear the maxi. It's pretty flippin' awesome.
It's also great for twirling:
Last month we visited a little town called New Hope on our way to Quaker town to visit some of my fiance's family. The name of the town obviously begged for a Star Wars pun so I gladly obliged. New Hope used to be an artist town and it still has some remnants of that. There are several antique shops and thrift stores and it has that quintessential small-town vibe. We went o a day that was cold and overcast but it was still a fun visit!
This is The Mansion, a bed and breakfast across the street from an antique shop.
They had some really fun colors on the houses and a pretty legit Tattoo sign also.
if you're ever in the area, New hope is worth a pit stop!
