I had read online that the GPS is not always accurate in Puerto Rico. In preparation, Krissy and I wrote down the directions for the different routes we were going to take that day since we had to do quite a bit of driving and could't afford to waste time on getting lost. The only directions we did not write down? From the apartment we were staying at to the Enterprise location. After waking up early and walking for 25 minutes in the heat in local neighborhoods where we were stared at for being weirdo tourists who had no business walking in their neighborhoods, the GPS tells us we have arrived. Lies. To be fair, there is something funky about the way Enterprise lists their address. We found our after the fact that we should have searched by the name of the plaza it is a part of, not the street address. Well, too late. I ended up calling Enterprise and after figuring out where we were, the driver came to pick us up. I don't know why we just didn't have them to that in the first place. Anyway, after our Enterprise adventure, we were off to Camuy Caves.
We had to get some papaya from a fruit stand on the side of the street on our way to the Rainforest. Good thing 'papaya' is the same in English and Spanish because my Spanish was not good enough to understand anything the guy was trying to say. The papaya was delicious but it turns out they do not smell very good (they stink).
Everything there was absolutely delicious, I definitely recommend it! We also had coffee Mouse with this magic whipped cream for dessert. Perfection. Oh yeah and the ceviche below was AMAZINGGGGG!!!
